1. The Promoter

This competition is promoted by 4ARBS Ltd (the Promoter) in relation to the 4ARBS TRADE EVENT 2027.

2. Eligibility

  1. The competition is open to arborists aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
  2. Employees of the Promoter, its event partners, sponsors, exhibitors, suppliers and anyone directly involved in organising or administering the competition are not eligible to enter.
  3. Immediate family members of those individuals are also excluded.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age or eligibility.
  5. By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements.

3. How to Enter

  1. To enter, participants must complete the official 4ARBS VIP Ticket Competition entry form and provide the information requested.
  2. One entry per person is permitted.
  3. Duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate or automated entries will be filtered and rejected.
  4. No purchase is necessary to enter.
  5. Entries must be received before midnight on 31 October 2026. Entries received after the closing date will not be included in this draw.
  6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or cannot be delivered for technical or other reasons beyond its reasonable control.

4. The Prize

  1. One winner will receive two VIP tickets to the 4ARBS TRADE EVENT 2027.
  2. The two VIP tickets provide admission for two people for both days of the 4ARBS TRADE EVENT 2027.
  3. Both the winner and their guest must be 18 years of age or over.
  4. The prize does not include travel, accommodation, meals, parking, transport or any other expenses associated with attending the event unless specifically stated by the Promoter.
  5. The VIP tickets are valid for the 4ARBS TRADE EVENT 2027 only and cannot be transferred to another event.
  6. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or another prize.
  7. The prize may not be sold or resold without the written permission of the Promoter.

5. Selecting the Winner

  1. The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries received before the competition closing date.
  2. The random draw will be conducted by the Promoter or by an independent person appointed by the Promoter.
  3. The Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility and the winner is final, subject to applicable law.
  4. The Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the outcome of the draw other than with the selected winner.

6. Contacting the Winner

  1. The winner will be contacted using the email address or other contact details supplied when entering the competition.
  2. The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner.
  3. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of the Promoter’s first attempt to contact them, or if the winner is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  4. The Promoter is not responsible if the winner cannot be contacted because incorrect or incomplete contact information was supplied.

7. Event Dates and Changes

  1. The VIP tickets are for the two-day 4ARBS TRADE EVENT 2027.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event, including changes to the programme, exhibitors, speakers, facilities, venue or event arrangements.
  3. If the event is postponed, cancelled or materially changed due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement for the prize.
  4. The Promoter will not be responsible for travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the winner or their guest in connection with the event.

8. Marketing Communications

  1. Entry into the competition requires the Promoter to use the entrant’s personal information for the purposes of administering the competition, including processing the entry and contacting the winner.
  2. Marketing communications are managed separately from competition entry. Entrants do not need to agree to receive marketing communications in order to enter.
  3. Entrants who opt in will receive email communications from 4ARBS Ltd about the 4ARBS TRADE EVENT 2027, including event news, announcements, exhibitors, speakers, tickets, competitions and other relevant event information.
  4. Marketing consent must be given by actively selecting the opt-in on the entry form.
  5. Entrants can withdraw their marketing consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting the Promoter.
  6. Withdrawing marketing consent will not affect an entrant’s competition entry or any other rights.
  7. The Promoter will continue to retain information where it is necessary to administer the competition, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or otherwise has a lawful reason to retain it.

9. Personal Information and Data Protection

  1. The Promoter will process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and applicable provisions of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
  2. Personal information collected through the competition will be used for the purposes explained at the point of collection and in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
  3. Entrants may request access to, correction of or, where applicable, deletion of their personal information.
  4. Where an entrant has consented to receive marketing communications, they may withdraw that consent at any time.
  5. The Promoter will provide an easy way for recipients to unsubscribe from marketing emails.
  6. Further information about how personal information is collected, stored and used can be found in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

10. Publicity

  1. The Promoter may announce the winner’s name or otherwise identify the winner in connection with the competition, where permitted by law.
  2. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Promoter may contact them regarding reasonable publicity associated with the competition and the 4ARBS TRADE EVENT 2027.
  3. Any use of photographs, video or other promotional material featuring the winner will be subject to appropriate consent where required.

11. Fraudulent or Abusive Entries

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where it reasonably believes that the entrant has:

  • provided false or misleading information;
  • entered using multiple identities or accounts;
  • used automated or other systems to submit entries;
  • attempted to manipulate the competition;
  • breached these Terms & Conditions; or
  • acted fraudulently or unfairly.

12. Cancellation or Amendment

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
  2. The Promoter will not make changes to these Terms & Conditions unnecessarily or for the purpose of unfairly disadvantaging entrants.
  3. Any significant changes will be communicated through the competition’s usual promotional channels where reasonably practicable.

13. Liability

  1. The Promoter will take reasonable care in administering the competition.
  2. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss, damage, expense or disappointment suffered by an entrant or winner except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
  3. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

14. Facebook and Instagram

Where the competition is promoted through Facebook or Instagram:

  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
  • Entrants acknowledge that their information is being provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with the competition will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Competition Closing Date

The competition will close at the date and time stated on the official competition entry page. The closing date and time will be clearly displayed before an entrant submits their entry.
